The following describes the privacy policies of the Marianapolis Text Notification System (MTNS).

Information Collection

MTNS does collect basic personal information from its users during registration. This includes phone number (including carrier), and the user's first and last name. This information is verified using standard methods and is stored securely on our server. We do not collect any anonymous information such as public IP or location. We do however include a timestamp with each submission.

Information Use

MTNS uses the data it collects for the sole purpose of sending out SMS text message alerts. By using this service, you also agree to allow Marianapolis to alert you to any emergencies on campus at any time regardless of your current subscription status. Marianapolis Tech Innovations (MTI) will never share your information with third-parties, however note that MTI reserves the right to access this data at any time in order to adequately maintain the system.

At this time user data is never deleted. Users may opt-out of our services at any time, however their information will remain in our system. At this time, if a user is certain they no longer want to be associated with this program, they need to email customer-service@marianapolis.org with their full name to confirm account deletion.

Information Sharing

The information used by MTNS is never shared with outside third-party services, however may be shared with various departments and programs within the Marianapolis Community. By using this service you also agree to allow us to share your information with the Marianapolis Preparatory School ("MPrep") administration and/or local law enforcement if necessary.

Other Parties

Google

Marianapolis Tech Innovations uses Google to host many of our app systems and our website. Use of MTNS may constitute agreement of the Google Privacy Policy. Please see the Google privacy policy for more information.
