About the Service
The Marianapolis Text Notification Service (MTNS) is a system that allows our various departments to
send text messages out to all our students, parents, faculty, and more. Users register online or through any of our supported apps
and will receive instant alerts sent to their phones via text message. There is a wide range of channels and topics available to subscribe to.
All of the current active channels are listed below along with a short description of the information transmitted.

| Athletics | Get score updates and recaps for major athletics events. |
| Delays and Cancellations | Get a text message every time school is delayed or cancelled. This includes early dismissals. |
| Schedule Changes | Get a text message anytime the daily schedule is changed. This channel operates independently of the Delays and Cancellations topic. |
| College Events | Keep up with the college office and all of their events and school visits. |
| EL and Weekend Events | Channel is no longer active |
The Marianapolis Emergency Warning System (EWS) is an automated service used to alert community members to campus emergencies. When you sign up for MTNS, your phone number is automatically enrolled in EWS. Your EWS subscription will remain active for up to 1 year, even if you choose to unsubscribe from MTNS.
